Question 1
“I'm the CTO at a manufacturer. How does Hourglass handle our data?”
Answer
Partly answered
The site covers ERP and warehouse syncs, field-level permissions, change history, single sign-on, encryption in transit and at rest and a choice of data region. It never names compliance certifications or the regions offered, and the manufacturing page says nothing about how a manufacturer's data is handled or protected.
Add compliance certifications and named data regions to /security
Who needs it: CTOs and IT or security reviewers checking a vendor
What is missing
No compliance certifications or audit reports are named.
The "Data region choice" card does not list which regions are offered.
Encryption is mentioned without any detail on how keys are managed.
Where
Update this section: add a card beside "Encryption" and "Data region choice" for certifications, and extend the "Data region choice" card with the regions offered.
What to do
Confirm with the security and compliance teams which certifications Hourglass holds, which data regions it offers and what can be said about encryption key management.
Add a certifications card naming each certification and how to request its report.
Extend the data region card with the list of regions.
Done when: /security names each certification Hourglass holds and lists the data regions customers can choose.
Add a data and security section to /solutions/manufacturing
Who needs it: Manufacturing IT and technology leaders
What is missing
The manufacturing page does not explain how ERP, pricing and installed equipment data is synced into Hourglass.
The manufacturing page says nothing about permissions, encryption, data regions or certifications for manufacturers' data.
Distributor access to account data is not explained in terms of what partners can and cannot see.
Where
New section on /solutions/manufacturing, placed after "Built for complex products and long relationships".

Here's how Hourglass handles your data: Data Hub syncs your warehouse, ERP and billing tools into one customer record, with field-level permissions and a history of every change. It also covers the security controls your IT team will ask about, and how agents only read what you allow.
