Question 1
“I'm the CTO at a manufacturer. How does Hourglass handle our data?”
Answer
Partly answered
The site explains two-way syncs with warehouses, ERPs and billing tools, field-level permissions, change history, encryption and a choice of data region. It never names which ERP or warehouse systems have ready-made syncs or which storage regions exist, and the manufacturing page says nothing about how data is handled.
List the data storage regions and certifications on /security
Who needs it: CTOs and IT or security reviewers checking a vendor
What is missing
The data regions a customer can choose are not listed.
No compliance certifications or audit reports are mentioned.
What happens to customer data on leaving (export and deletion) is not stated on this page.
Where
Update this section: Expand the "Data region choice" card and add a card beside "Encryption" and "Single sign-on" for certifications.
Related sections
Buying Hourglass or building your own
What to do
Confirm with the security and compliance teams which regions are offered, which certifications Hourglass holds and the data export and deletion policy.
Add the regions to the "Data region choice" card and a certifications card naming each one and how to request its report.
Add a line on data export and deletion when a contract ends.
Done when: /security lists every storage region, each certification held and what happens to data on exit.
Add a data and security section to /solutions/manufacturing
Who needs it: Manufacturing (this visitor: Whirlpool Corporation)
What is missing
The manufacturing page never explains how ERP, pricing, equipment and distributor data is synced and protected.
Distributor access to account data is not tied to permissions or audit history.
No link to the security page or Data Hub.
Where
New section on /solutions/manufacturing, placed after "Built for complex products and long relationships".

Main topics
ERP and equipment data syncs · distributor and partner access controls · field-level permissions and change history · encryption and data region · links to /security and /products/data
What to do
Confirm with product which manufacturing systems (ERP, field service) sync and how distributor access is permissioned.
Build the section with links to /security and /products/data.
Done when: /solutions/manufacturing has a section explaining how ERP, equipment and distributor data is synced and protected, linking to /security and /products/data. Depends on: “List the data storage regions and certifications on /security”

Here's how Hourglass handles your data: Data Hub syncs your warehouse, ERP and billing tools into one customer record in the Smart CRM, with field-level permissions and a history of every change. The page also shows the security controls your IT team will ask about first.
The financial services page has three customer stories from banks, credit unions and insurers, each with a quote and results. Allica Bank also appears on /customers and the home page.

I've added two customer stories from financial services, Mercantile Bank and Allica Bank, below the Data Hub sections you were reading. They show how regulated teams bring accounts and conversations onto one record, with every message reviewed.
