Question 1

“How do we import five years of history from our old CRM?”

Answer
Partly answered

The site says imports from other CRMs bring contacts, companies, deals and their history, with a test import and team-by-team rollout, on /platform, /pricing and /solutions/switch-crm. It never says how history comes across (which activity types, any limit on age or volume, or the import method), and the Data Hub page where the visitor asked says nothing about migration.

Add historical import detail to the migration playbook on /solutions/switch-crm

Who needs it: CTOs and IT or data teams moving from another CRM (this visitor: Whirlpool Corporation)
Section: /solutions/switch-crm › Run a test import (card)

What is missing:
- Which activity types come across with history (emails, calls, meetings, notes, deal stage changes) is not stated.
- Whether there is any limit on how many years or how much history can be imported is not stated.
- How history is imported (file import, connector from the old CRM or API) is not stated.

Where: Update this section: Extend the "Run a test import" card, and add a line to "Plan the move" on what history to bring.
Related sections: Move from your current CRM · Bring your history with you

What to do:
1. Confirm with engineering which activity types import with history, any limits on age or volume, and the supported import methods and source CRMs.
2. Add these facts to the "Run a test import" and "Plan the move" cards.

Done when: /solutions/switch-crm states which history comes across, any age or volume limits, and how the import is run.

Answer full page
Hourglass brings records across with their full history, so five years of activity comes with you. This page walks through the planned migration: a test import first, then going live team by team. The docs below cover CSV size limits and how duplicates are matched during an import.
