Data residency and retention
Where your data lives, how long deleted records are kept and how to export everything.
Data regions
A workspace lives in one of two regions: United States or European Union (Frankfurt). Records, files, backups and the agents' processing all stay in that region.
You choose it when you create the workspace. To move an existing workspace, contact support: the move is scheduled with you and the workspace is read-only for up to 4 hours while it runs.
Deleted records and backups
Deleted records go to the Recycle bin for 30 days, where anyone with delete permission can restore them.
The whole workspace is backed up every 24 hours, and backups are kept for 35 days. Support can restore a workspace from a backup on an admin's request.
Export all your data
Admins can request a full export from Settings › Data › Export workspace. It arrives as a ZIP of CSV files, one per object, with a link that lasts 7 days. You can request one export every 24 hours.
