Rate limits
How many API requests you can make, and what to do at the limit.
Limits by plan
Limits apply per workspace:
- Starter: 100 requests per 10 seconds, 250,000 a day.
- Professional: 150 requests per 10 seconds, 500,000 a day.
- Enterprise: 200 requests per 10 seconds, 1,000,000 a day.
The free CRM can call the API at Starter's limits.
At the limit (429 responses)
Over the limit, the API answers 429 Too Many Requests with a Retry-After header in seconds. Wait that long, then retry with exponential backoff. Every response carries X-RateLimit-Remaining so you can slow down before you reach the limit.
Batch endpoints
Batch endpoints create or update up to 100 records per request, and each batch counts as one request towards your limit. Use them for syncs and imports instead of one call per record.
